Feeling Stuck?

Afraid of what it might require to make a change?

Are you worried or stressed about some part of your life?  Feeling dissatisfied and tired of repeating patterns? Experiencing yourself as stuck and frustrated that you don’t know how to feel or make things better?

Forming our lives is the task of being an adult. It is an inherited urge in us and when we are experiencing difficulty in some part of our life we can feel it as a deep wound to our identity and self-worth.

What isn’t working can become the focus of our attention and it is hard to enjoy what is working.

You may be having difficulties in a relationship that is important to you or you may be having difficulty forming relationships. You may be having anxious feelings or thoughts and are afraid to tell anyone about them or tired of how people are reacting to you when you do. You could be feeling that you are missing something or don’t fit into the world around you, can’t be yourself with others. People come to therapy for many different reasons, but everyone wants to feel better. Therapy is not a remedy; it is a process that facilitates you in making the changes you desire.

Perfection is not attainable, but growth is the evolutionary imperative of all of life. When we are growing we feel connected to the life process, our self and others. Therapy can help you form yourself and manage your life.

Very small shifts in what you do can make profound changes in your experience of life.
